What if something I order is out of stock?

Any item that is out of stock when ordered will be placed on back order. You will then be notified by e-mail of the expected delivery date. Should we receive no response from our e-mail we will therefore assume that you wish to accept the goods on the date as specified. If the delivery date is unacceptable, please respond to our e-mail and we will cancel the backorder and either credit your credit card or, if you are an account customer, you will not be invoiced.

Can I return an item?

Yes, RTP Supplies will happily refund or exchange any unused item purchased from us.

We don’t charge for returns and there is no restocking fee.

Returned goods must be unused and in a saleable condition as well as being in their original unopened packaging.

Please notify us within 14 days should you wish to return any item(s) we have supplied. We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. You are responsible for the return shipping amount if the item is returned for any other reason.

We will credit the card or account we have on file for you.

What is the daily cut-off point for ordering?

Receive your order within 2 – 5 working days anywhere in Ireland provided orders are received by us before 12:00 Midday and we have the stock. (Working days excludes: Weekends & Bank Holidays).

Please note that a few special products require a slightly longer delivery time and you will be informed by e-mail of the alternative delivery date.

Are the test kits certified?

Yes. Both our high-quality MöLab and Healgen test kit products are manufactured and validated under strict regulations/standards. They are also CE marked and approved for use by the NHS in the UK and the HSE in Ireland, as well as a host of other countries globally.

Is there a use-by date on the test kits?

Yes. The use by date is usually around 24 months from the manufacture date, so each test will be different depending on when it was manufactured.

Do we need a healthcare professional to use the kits?

We recommend the test for professional use only and it should be administered by a trained healthcare professional. However, Antigen Test products have been approved for use by members of the public (by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA UK) for exceptional use as a COVID-19 rapid test, 12.2020).

Are the test kits accurate?

The two main antigens for coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 are the spike (S) protein and the nucleocapsid (N) protein. The nucleocapsid protein has emerged as a better target for diagnostic antigen tests because it’s more conserved, and it’s more abundant.

Unlike many tests out there, RTP Supplies’ MöLab and Healgen COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test detects the nucleocapsid protein making it a far more accurate and dependable test.

The Coronavirus Rapid AG Test:

Relative Sensitivity:         97.3%
Relative Specificity:         >99.9%
Accuracy:                             99%

MöLab GmbH was established in 1983. For more than 37 years, the company has been pioneering new and modern ways to manufacture point-of-care diagnostics in Germany. Their products and services serve doctors, hospitals, utilities, public institutions, and security-related authorities all across Europe.

The Healgen COVID-19 Rapid Antigen test is also fully approved by the UK government, one of only three such tests to achieve this status, and it is therefore widely used by local authorities, education settings and businesses right across Europe. The tests are also CE marked and are included on a list of tests considered appropriate for use by the European Union. In order to have qualified for this list, the tests must:

Carry a CE approval mark
Perform at a minimum of ≥ 90% sensitivity and ≥ 97% specificity
Validated as appropriate for their use in the context of COVID-19 by at least one Member State
